If they exist, circumstances are not scientifically known and can not be reproduced at will.

Therefore, the Whose causes a supernatural can not be studied by the scientific method, or by the experimental method.

Divine: Miracles or demonic, or spirits, ghosts, possession or Magic practices. 

Some authors reserve this word for phenomena supposedly produced by a spiritual or divine.

In the absence of explanations, so-called supernatural phenomena are sometimes attributed to cause such as miracles, refusing it to phenomena stemming from unknown causes but belonging to the natural world such as psychism, parapsychology, sorcery or spiritualism.

The supernatural is used in this sense by the Catholic Church.

Do not confuse the supernatural with the paranormal which groups together all the phenomena whose causes and circumstances are not scientifically known but which can be reproduced at will if the necessary circumstances are met.

The paranormal can be studied scientifically, even if its unusual character makes this study difficult: sometimes the paranormal phenomenon occurs only in the presence of certain individuals.

Scientific reports were published on rotating tables, distant objects, the transmission of thought or clairvoyance.
